Taking the Canadian Citizenship Challenge not only gives you a chance to find out just what Canada is made of, it gives you a chance to take home a little bit of Canada!

• Classroom Grand Prize: A Canadian Citizenship Celebration at your school to celebrate our history, culture and traditions. This once in a lifetime celebration includes a citizenship reaffirmation ceremony, delicious treats, and speeches from inspirational leaders.

  The Classroom Grand Prize is awarded to the class with the highest average and will take place on or around February 15 (Flag Day).

• Student Grand Prize: Win an all expenses paid trip to Ottawa! Two “Student Citizens of the Year” will spend 2 nights and 3 days exploring Canada's history and culture by meeting Canada's inspirational leaders, visiting our national museums and historic sites with a fellow Canadian "Student Citizen"!

  The Student Grand Prize will be awarded to the two students who receive perfect scores on the Challenge’s citizenship exam. The trip will take place during the spring.



• Great Canadian Prizes: Great Canadian-themed prizes such as hats, magazine subscriptions for and full book sets for students and classrooms who score the highest on the Challenge!

• NEW Bonus prize for teachers: Teachers who register multiple classes are entered for a chance to win a gift certificate from our friends at Staples along with a Historica-Dominion Institute Prize Pack!
